We want to thank the family members and incredible friends who have surrounded our family with love and support over these past months. During an unimaginably difficult time, your kindness has carried us in ways words can hardly express.
To those in Colorado who helped coordinate our move back to Virginia, those here in Virginia that helped when we arrived, and to everyone along the way who offered an act of service, a comforting hug, a conversation, an act of service, a message, a card, a meal, a thoughtful gift, or a donation, please know how deeply it has touched us. Each gesture has made a difference. You helped hold us up when we needed it most. We’ve felt your hearts alongside ours. Grieving with us, supporting us and honoring Brooklyn.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizations and communities who lifted us through this time: Timberline Church - Fort Collins, 3Hopeful Hearts, Fort Collins Victim Advocacy, Expectation Church in Fairfax, VA, Health, Happiness, and Hooves Farms - Fairfax Station, KidStrong Fort Collins, and KidStrong HQ. Your care, compassion, and support have been a source of light and strength for our family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for walking beside us with such love, grace, and strength.
With love and gratitude,
Tom & Dorie Fredericks
